It looks like Bangalore is becoming a hotspot for sport in the country. And this was reinforced when some of the top Indian and international golfers including, Jyoti Randhawa, Digvijay Singh, Sunil Joshi, Chiragh Kumar, SSP Chowrasia and Bangalore’s own Anirban Lahiri, apart from other 20 top-ranked PGTI players, participated in the first Pro-Am Golf Tournament hosted by Prestige. The tournament was held at Prestige Golfshire on Sunday. 

The new 18-hole professional golf course, set amidst the city’s characteristic greenery and overlooking the scenic Nandi Hills, played host to India’s top players, who competed and played with amateur golfers from across the country. Golf management company Troon Golf oversees the state-of-the-art golf course at Prestige Golfshire.
Faiz Rezwan, executive director of the Prestige Group and the brain behind the tournament, said, “We were happy to host such players at Golfshire and have them experience the newest golf course in the country. We will work towards making this tournament an annual feature with increased participation from professionals and amateurs.” 
The winners at the tournament were Jyoti Randhawa, Amitabh Poddar, Omer Jung and Anilsama.
